VIBRANT COLOURS, MISERABLE FACE
Fernando Blake is a skater and student in London, his patterned shirt in combination with cut off shorts create a preppy yet grungey look.
Covent Garden Chic
Maeve O'brian all the way from down under, jealous much, works at Primrose Bakery in Covent Garden. With no plans tonight as she's working till 8 she sports the Marmite of shoes: leopard print, Creepers. Love them or hate them, they're not our shoe of choice but Maeve pulls them off sweetly. Almost makes us want to buy a pair...
Ella, a Goldsmiths student studying Social Anthropology and Media may not be interested in blogging but we're certainly interested in her! This all black outfit paired with a Levis denim jacket is the ultimate in effortless London cool.
Summer for the city girl
Cool and classic is the main feel of this look. The broad shouldered boyfriend style blazer works well with her figure hugging skinnys. The silky lapel creates an elegant and feminine edge which contrasts with the casual sense of the plain white tee. By having accessories kept to a minimum, all attention is on the clothes with a touch of androgynous. The monochrome sandals exaggerates the top half of this outfit while adding a summery feel to a otherwise smart look.

Loves: Vintage shops, Topshop, retro styles
Phoebe is caught sporting the classic high waisted denim shorts with an on trend crop-top tee. The dark smokey colours reflect a grunge and rock look which is very fashionable at the moment. this style can always be matched with leggings or tights for those who would prefer not show their legs. A bold pair of shoes or boots can really set off and complete a rock chick style such as this.
How to wear a Maxi dress in the city
Tatiana is a 26 year old student who's favourite brand is Bottega Veneta, personally I loved her expensive accessories, note the Louis Vuitton bag and Chanel sunglasses.
City girl in city shorts
Khaki shorts from Topshop, which are perfect for the spring weather, paired with a casual grey top and necklace from River Island- a winning look for an April afternoon!
Cute dress, awkward pose
Occupation- Student
Dress- H&M
Belt- Vintage
She was scared and embarassed but with that dress and hair, she should be full of confidence! Maybe ditch the plastic bag next time though ;)
Susie the student
Colour would be nice, but we dig her DMs and galaxy top. She was preoccupied, listening to Crystal Castles. That outfit would look great at a concert.
London; stuck in the limbo between spring and summer
Resident London model worked her long legs with sky high heels and a silky cami. Her turned up waisted shorts accentuated the distance from her waist to her toes. The summer inspired look plays with vibrant blues and is toned down by the pale coral of her top. Not a great fan of the necklace though!
Maliya, 19 from New York shows off her indie-grunge inspired look well by diluting her edginess with indigo, slim fitted drainpipe jeans and an Urban Outfitters vest with her Rayban sunglasses.
Floral queen, Emily from Hertfordshire blends well into our background as she successfully dresses for this hot summer day. The vintage bag was great buy on Brick Lane and she was inventive by using an old ribbon she found to tie around her waist.
Jemma from Sheffield wears funky skorts/cullotes and a motorcycle jacket "I love to shop in Topshop, there's such a wide range of clothing and accessories for me to choose from." Even though her look may seem wintery, she manages to pull it off by releasing her legs to the sun and embracing the few days we get of summer. The orange detailing in the skirt is zesty, forward thinking move for this summers main trend of bright and bold colours.

Cool hair, great chinos
Even those scuffed black pumps and white socks look stylish on this dude as he works those rolled up chinos and T-shirt into a great early summer outfit. We can't help but think it really helps that his hair and beard are super cool and that geeky backpack kinda helps too. Sometimes style is about more than what you wear, huh?
Gentlemen prefer accessories
It really is the little things that maketh the man. And in his mid-blue denims, navy jacket and pink shirt there was nothing remarkable about this guy. Add the hat and scarf and -pow!- he becomes a style apart from his street peers. Nice brogues too. Guess what he used to be a fashion designer. Does anyone in this city not work in fashion?
Coat meets shirt....
Sometimes you can tell when someone works in fashion. With this girl it was the coat that gave her away. Or is it a coat? In flyaway parachute silk and with utility details, it is as gossamer thin as a fine shirt and she belted it like a wrap dress. Very cool. Where's it from? Sorry, she picked it up in Hong Kong.
